Do-it-Yourself Bible Study

Robin is the wife of Scott Wolfe and the mother of three children: Holly, Kelly, and Sam. She teaches children's and ladies' Bible classes, and is co-coordinator for the 3rd and 4th grade classes.

She graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1978 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and in 1985 with a Master's degree as an All-Levels Reading Specialist. Having taught in public and private schools for 11 years, she now writes educational materials for children. Robin has had several books published, including phonics and reading comprehension resource books for elementary school teachers.

In 2000, Robin wrote a series for children about the books of the Bible, entitled Grow in God's Word, published by Shining Star, a division of Frank Schaffer Publications. The series of four books includes a study of the Old Testament books (Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4) and the New Testament books (Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4). Each 13-unit book includes lesson plans, student activity pages, a Bible timeline chart, and color flashcards. The books were intended to be on the market for five years, and are now out of print. However, they can sometimes be found for sale on the internet on websites such as alibris, amazon, ebay, etc.

Robin also authored the Do-It-Yourself Home Bible Study that is available on this website. It was originally written for a deaf friend who wanted to teach a family member about the gospel and the church. It is written in an easy-to-read, explanatory style. It has also been used by others to teach teenagers, neighbors, co-workers, family and friends. Some missionaries have found it helpful in teaching those who speak English as a second language. It is especially useful for teaching those who are unable to attend a Bible class, but want to learn in the privacy of their own home.
